For sale:1999 Suzuki GS 500, customized to resemble a more classic bike.The bike has only 7,769 miles (mostly highway), and maintenance has been performed at all scheduled intervals. I changed the oil/filter less than 50 miles ago, and the brakes were bled less than 20 miles ago.There are some apparent electrical issues that are preventing the bike from starting. The engine will turn, but again, the bike requires some serious effort to start. I don't have the time to find the issue, so my loss is your gain.Some of the upgrades and custom components include:-K&N lunchbox-style air filter-Larger carburetor jets-New slip-on exhaust (sounds much throatier than stock, but not too loud)-New indicators-New brake light-Refurbished seat from 1980 GS 450-New handlebar (inverted clubman)-New bar-end mirrors-New gel battery (much better than traditional liquid batteries)There are a few very minor scrapes on the engine from where the previous owner dropped the bike (see photos). Otherwise, this is a well maintained, one-of-a-kind motorcycle that is fast and reasonably cheap to run.
