Vehicle Detail

1975 Pontiac Trans Am. I have owned this car for a few years. I bought this from a guy who started a extensive restoration on the car before having financial problems. I would consider this a pro-tour type car. The mileage reads 97000 but not many miles are on the car since it's restoration. The body was taken off the frame and painted. The front end was completely rebuilt and slotted rotors were used. A rear brake conversion was done making this a four wheel disc brake car. As can be seen in the pictures the car is as solid as they come. The body is exceptional! The motor is the original(engine code is WT which is for a 75 manual 400) from what I was told and was completely gone through, it is strong and starts right up. High rise intake, Edelbrock carburetor, and chrome accessories All new exhaust from the headers back to the tips. The mufflers are flowmasters and sound great. The transmission shifts kind of tight and you have to feather the clutch. What it needs is a mechanic to tune up the engine and adjust the clutch. I have some of the receipts that the previous owner emailed me when I bought the car and he spent a lot of money on high dollar parts. This TA was originally a silver car with a red interior. The paint is very nice and is a few years old. Base coat, clear coat and has some small imperfections but a really nice looking car. The paint below the rear bumper is fractured a bit but no where else. The bumpers look ok but I think the wrong paint was used on them, they need to be redone. The interior looks good, the dash has no cracks and the speedometer and tachometer work. The carpet is new as well as the headliner. The seats are in good condition with no tears. Console looks new. All new weatherstripping and seals. The trunk has been splatter painted and is clean. Expensive Torq Thrust wheels with good tires. I cannot overstate how rust free and straight this car is. It has had a lot of money spent on it and needs very little to make it very nice. I am not up to finishing what needs to be done. Seat belts were never installed properly and need to be done right. It had tall springs on the front that I did not like the looks of so I had them removed and factory correct ones put back so it could probably use an alignment but does drive straight. I can't remember everything about this car so ask questions. If you would like to speak with me email me your number and I will call you ASAP. Please only serious buyers who intend on following through and actually buying this car. SOLD AS IS! Inspections are welcomed and encouraged anytime before the auction is ended. All shipping cost to be paid by the buyer but I will help with the arrangements. I plan on letting the auction determine the value of this Trans Am but I reserve the right to end it at anytime.
