Vehicle Detail
This vehicle has been undergoing a long, rolling, restoration. Things that have been done in the last three years are: New paint, reupholstered front and rear seats, replaced all bushings in front suspension, radiatior flushed and repaired, all brake lines have been flushed and/or replaced, brake pads/shoes replaced, fuel tank flushed and sealed, new headlight seals, chrome rings, and covers have been installed, and all rubber hoses have been replaced. Aesthetically the car has been lowered 2" with lowering blocks ( you can remove them if you wan the stock look), and has had smaller lighter bumpers installed. Im sure there is more... I can not drive it anywhere without people wanting to stop and talk about the Avanti. The new bumpers and tire package really make this car a looker! Rarely does someone actually know what it is. The motor starts very easily, though it is a bit cold natured. The manifold pressure gauge shows good pressure, oil pressure is good, and the temp gauge rides right in the middle. As mentioned earlier, this car is a driver. There are tiny scratches and dings in the paint and the interior has some flaws. The supercharger is not currently plumbed though it is installed. All of the original equipment to install the supercharger will come with the vehicle. The winning bidder will get all the extras I have. Extra distributors, hoses, belts, books, parts catalogs, original wheels, air filters, etc. Finally, this car has no rust. The "hog troughs" are solid, and the frame is solid. The body is fiberglass and is in good shape. The odometer shows 80,000 ish miles which I think is original but have no way to verify. I believe this vehicle has every option available at the time with the exception of the automatic trans. This vehicle has the four speed transmission. On Feb-06-15 at 07:08:23 PST, seller added the following information: It appears as though I have managed to upload tiny pictures of the Stude which is too bad because it looks amazing. Please go to this website which has the full size pictures. I will also ad a picture of the chassis number, owners manual, and all the literature I will be including with the sale.
