I would like to share some facts with you regarding this automobile. My wife had always wanted a Miata roadster. Every time she saw one on the street she would say "There goes my car!". She had a 65th birthday coming up and I went to the local dealership in San Luis Obispo, CA to order one for her. When talking to the dealership, they had just received a special ordered 2002 Special Edition Mazda. It had been ordered by the dealership owner for his wife. I approached the owner and explained my wife's birthday. I knew I couldn't order one in time, so I persuaded him to sell me the one he had ordered for his wife - he agreed to, under one condition. He would sell it to me at $2,000 OVER sticker price. I wasn't pleased, but decided to buy it. The window sticker pictured in our ad explains all of the special equipment ordered. This roadster has every conceivable Special Edition Miata option available in 2002, bar none. The car was recently serviced and the mileage is 11,344! This is a Special Edition Limited Production, with "Blazing Yellow Mica"pearl paint. Additional pictures will be posted in a few days - after we have some sunshine in Grants Pass, Oregon! I paid $30,035 for the car and it has been garaged all of its life, never EVER driven in the rain and has, surprisingly, never been washed - just dusted with a California Duster, as necessary. I have all the original documentation, owner's manual, tire warranty, and service records. In addition, I purchased a Miata Car Cover, a special Miata Tonneau cover (never used on the car) and an Italian taxi air horn (for fun). This vehicle is as virgin as anything new.
