1950 Pontiac Silver Streak 2 Door Fastback. The 1950 Pontiac Fastback is becoming very rare and desirable. There are many 50's Chevrolet Fleetlines, but the Pontiac Silver Streak Fastback is really set apart in numbers produced and all the Classic Body Stainless. This Pontiac has always been in the South. The Silver Streak is equipped with a rebuilt 350 V8 with an Edlebrock Performer 4 barrel Carb. and Performer manifold, with lots of chrome and stainless. It has a 400 Turbo transmission. All wiring has been professionally replaced with a Painless Harness. Cooling is provided by a 4 row radiator and an electric cooling fan. The body is about as solid as you will find. The body was repainted about 25 years ago and still shows nicely, although their are normal wear and age flaws, he floor pans, frame, and inner rockers are super solid. The grill has been recently re-chromed. The bumpers have some fading, but are presentable. All electric components operate properly. Even the gas gauge works. Speedo is inoperable. The wipers have been upgraded to electric. The gauges are upgraded also to mechanical readouts. Recently installed also is an Pioneer AM FM CD stereo with new speakers. The Interior was completely renewed about 3 years ago in high quality suede and tweed. The Headliner, seats, door panel and carpet were all replaced. I just added the 18" and 20" Coys Polished Wheels with new Speed Rated Radials to give the Pontiac a more current look. The front and rear were also lowered about 2". This Pontiac runs and drives very nice. You will be proud to own, drive and show this unusual Classic. If you are tired of all the Tri 5's, Mustangs and Camaro's, perhaps this Silver Streak is what you have been looking for.
