For sale is a 2000 Chevy Monte Carlo SS. It is black, with black leather seats. The car was purchased new by my parents, then transfered to myself (2005?), and is now being sold by me. It has nearly 200,000 miles, and as such has some mechanical and cosmetic issues. The Engine leaks a small quantity of oil near the upper end. The transmission does not shift into overdrive (other gears work), right hand side has a long scratch across all three body panels (front fender-passenger door-rear quarter). It has a brand new battery, it does start, run, and drive. It's been stored in a shed for about 4 years now, and it's time to move it. Brakes are in fair shape, and there's a little tread left on the tires. Interior is in nice shape, overall. Driver's seat has the most wear (no cuts or anything major), just wrinkles, etc. Passenger seat and rear seats are in very nice condition. Never smoked in. Carpets are in fairly nice condition (I had rubber floor mats in it the whole time). If you enjoy working on cars, this could be a nice project for you. With some work, this car would make a nice work vehicle, or a nice car for a teenager to drive to school.
