Up for bid! This is a Rare 1968 Firebird Sprint with a 4.1 Overhead cam 6 cylinder with factory 4 barrel carb! Backed up by a 3 speed manual shift with Rare Hurst shifter. Has Power steering. Car can be driven daily and runs and drives excellent. Has what appears to be original Overhead Cam 4.1 badging on the hood, and on the front rockers the Sprint badges! Car I was told was a 2 owner car for most of its life. And has been garaged most of its life and it really shows. I was told the car has original miles at 74,000 although I cannot verify. The car is extremely solid! Rockers are solid, floor pans solid, frame solid, rear quarters are solid. Trunk is perfect with no rust at all. Virtually no rust on the car. This car is not a show car but extremely solid being garaged most of its life. Does have a tiny dent on passenger side rear quarter see pics, other than that really straight. I have only seen a few sprints for sale they are extremely hard to find and sought after. One of 1200 out of almost 20,000 made in 68. Motor sounds very healthy, clutch shifts excellent. All gauges work except for gas gauge. Has new stainless gas tank installed, new Summit aluminum radiator, new master cylinder. Power steering works good. Carb has been rebuilt and I was told its original Quadrajet 4 barrel carb. Split exhaust. Interior is in decent driver shape, but I would have redone personally. Paint may be original or it was repainted once before the original color I cannot be sure. Paint is old and still has a nice shine but has numerous spots of clear coat peeling and is not perfect by no means. Wipers work, heater works, all lights and taillights work except for one of the low beams. Even the annoying buzzer with the key in the ignition still works! Tires are in great shape. Nice centerline wheels. I also do have the original air cleaner that comes with the car. I would trust this car on a long trip it drives nice and tight going down the road, is dependable! Car has some get up and go with that 4 barrel! Very Surprising! I would bet money against a stock 326 v8 I would beat them off the line! Hands down! The car comes with Clean Oregon title in hand, with Special permanent Oregon plates. Car is sold As-is, I will take cash in person or wire transfer from bank to bank.
