Vehicle Detail
Relisted due to zero feedback bidder who of course did not come through.....1979 Ford F150 Ranger XLT long bed with factory AC. The odometer reads 33929 miles (as of 12/7/14) and we installed the rebuilt 400 when the odometer read 31277 miles (2652 miles ago) in December 2013. 5-digit odometer so true miles unknown. Edelbrock intake and carburetor, Hooker headers with dual exhaust (sounds amazing) and a 3-speed automatic transmission with shift kit. The truck is 4X4 and has brand new Warn hubs, 35" BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A's that have less than 5,000 miles on them (took them off my Jeep prior to selling it) on nice alloy wheels. The truck was professionally lifted with the dual shock set-up in the front and has a new adjustable track bar and steering damper. The original seat was just re-upholstered and the carpet is brand new as well. The original dash has a couple of cracks so a dash cap was installed and it looks great. The factory AC blows cold and the heat is hot and the gauges work. Windows are tinted and the headliner is new. There is a tool box in the bed which can be removed and a brand new spare on a nice chrome wheel. It had dual tanks (only the rear remains) but components to add the front tank are there and the dash switch works. I installed the tow hitch and electric brake controller this year but have never towed anything. This is a rust free ARIZONA truck and we just paid thousands to have it painted Plum Crazy Purple from the 70's mopars and it looks amazing. Bed, hood, etc were removed to paint and it's laser straight. Original color was light and dark blue and I included a picture of the floors when I removed the original dark blue carpet to show the amazing condition of this truck prior to the re-paint. There is a chrome push bar with working lights and the bed is rhino-lined. The tail gate is after-market and opens and shuts as it should. Battery, belts, alternator, starter, fuel filter, water pump, oil pump, thermostat and probably other items that I don't recall are new. The truck drives extremely well, does not overheat and would make a nice daily driver or weekend cruiser. Just painted so there are no nicks or scratches anywhere with the exception of a couple on the INSIDE of the tail gate (it is a truck after all). My wife and I decided to take a hiatus from work for a few years to travel and this is the reason for selling this vehicle. The vehicle is sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied (it is 35 years old) but I don't think that the buyer will be disappointed. I have detailed my view of the condition of the truck as best as possible but please feel free to contact me at (602) 317-7797 if you have any questions or would like additional pictures. Thousands spent on the restoration and the reserve is set at a VERY fair price. Remember, this is an ARIZONA truck.
