Condition You are bidding on a 1971 MGB GT. This is a California car, free of rust excepting a small amount of surface in the spare tire compartment due to a leaky rear window seal (this has since been replaced) It was shipped to NJ, and always garaged, never driven in the rain or snow. Maintenance and upgrades include (have receipts): - Engine professionally rebuilt with a 3/4 race cam (California emissions equipment still in place). - Overdrive transmission swap performed with new clutch - Very rare completely restored BWA Sportstar 14x6 wheels - Pirelli P4 tires 185/70R14with less than 200 miles on them. - Front end professionally rebuilt, brakes redone - Tube shock conversion - 7/8” sway bar - modern electric fuel pump - new battery - new heater core and more… This car handles like glue on the road. Included is the original 4 speed transmission, original Rostyle wheels in great shape with trim rings, spare radiator, chrome trim, spare package tray, and car cover. Car has about 87k original miles; speedometer was swapped during the overdrive conversion. Original speedometer reads 85963, overdrive speedometer reads 91280. Original is included as well. All receipts included, organized in notebook. Needs speedometer cable replaced. Car is stored in the garage, not registered or insured at this time. This is my father's car, so some detailed questions may take a little time to respond as I may have to ask him. Title is clean and in his name. Weekends are best if you wish to inspect the car.
