Vehicle Detail

This is my 1975 Cadillac Coupe Deville. I bought it with full intentions of finishing it off as the previous owner passed away before he could. I've had it for some time and have done work to it as well. This was a one owner car before I picked it up. It has a new battery, air cleaner, alternator, plugs, oil change, transmission fluid change, tires(whitewalls),plug wires and all belts replaced including the AC belt. This car runs amazing. Quiet and pretty fast as well. It is a driver. Hop in,start it up and go. It needs a little work but nothing too intense. I would replace the ashtrays in the back so it had some better looking flip covers, the rear tail light surrounds could be replaced(however it only needs one and not the entire set),there is some rust beginning to form around top molding but it's still solid. I have the paint to fix it. It's left over from the 1 re-paint it had so it's a perfect match. The bottom section of the door panels should be re-done and I am including a ream of white leather for that. You'll have enough easily to have it done. Other than that-it looks stunning. The leather top is in good condition. No splits, wear or cracks. The interior could use a little bit of TLC but I mentioned the door panels on the bottom-the carpet is good, dash is perfect(no cracks) and the seats are in a great shape(white leather). All power options work except the antenna. It's stuck but still can be manually moved. I have receipts, the original owner's manual,1975 Cadillac brochure and 1975 Cadillac Supplement manual(wiring, vacuum diagrams..etc) that go with the car. The spare tire is original to the car. Never been out of the trunk. Original trunk mat is there as well. In addition to the white leather ream for the door panels and the paint to touch it up after some minor fixing it also comes with an entire set of taillights and lenses. It also comes with a car cover which is on it now. It is also coming with a whole bunch of 8-tracks that you may or may not want-I like having that stuff around as I think it's neat and pretty nostalgic. The original clock is working and set for time. As you will see,the car is in running condition and if you look close-you'll see my 73 year old Dad in the car. He loves this thing and seems to always want to drive it to his pool place or out to "wee-bowling"(not sure what that is...but he goes quite often). However,I have it covered and it does not get driven in the snow which we have right now. I can move it easily though. You WILL GET NOTICED in this car. People honk at you on the freeway,in the city and you'll have people talking to you quite often. I think I've covered just about everything you need to know. It's a nice car and with a little time into it-it's going to be pristine. The only reason I'm selling it is because I have another project which I want to finish and I don't know when I'll be able to finish this off. I have a 1971 Chevrolet K-5 Blazer I bought from the original owner of 43 years and am restoring it back to stock form. He was a Vietnam Veteran and I want to finish it as a tribute to him and the rest of the men and women who serve this country. I just want this to go to a good home and be enjoyed for years to come. Thank you for taking the time to read through my listing. The reserve price is not very high and will be my break-even point. I'm not concerned about making money here. Jason On Jan-01-15 at 14:11:15 PST, seller added the following information: Okay, just so people know...the reserve price here is 3,500.00. It's about 3 thousand less than the other ones that are for sale at the moment and that is not even including shipping(if needed). If I get somewhere around 2,500.00-I'll lift the reserve before the auction closes. I can't take less than that or I'm going to get bit pretty bad. Even at 2,500.00 I'm losing money. On Jan-03-15 at 23:26:06 PST, seller added the following information: I have lowered the reserve to pretty much where it is now on the bid scale. It's 75 bucks away. If you want it,now's your chance! :) Jason
