This is a classic Mercedes diesel. Don't let the miles scare you, I've been told with proper care they can last 500000 miles. The body and interior are in good shape for a car that is 31 years old. Very minor rust at the jack points. I will describe any issues as I know them to be. I have had this car for about 7 years. all but 2 years of this cars life it has been garaged. I have all of the history of care and repairs for this car since the first owner. Since I have had the car the valves have been adjusted regularly, timing chain replaced about 3 years ago. New shocks. New brakes(rotors, some lines, pads)all the way around. Diesel purge done regularly. Gas lines have all been converted for the car to run bio-fuel. Oil changed regularly. I have extra parts for the repairs that I know need to be done. Front suspension rod bushing replacement, Steering idler arm bushing, new gas filters, diesel purge, motor mount bushings, rebuild kit for the turbo, shift bushing replacement, transmission filter and fluid change kit, custom tools for cleaning glow plugs and wrenches for adjusting valves. All of these have printed instructions with pictures. I also have a Chilton manual for the car. The car needs front tires, and there is an oil leak which I have been told is a gasket that needs replacing. It has a new battery, however there seems to be a ghost drain on the battery and if it sits without running, it will drain the battery. Please contact me with any questions.
