1975 Bricklin Safety Vehicle 1 (SV1). 100% original car with only 7,610 actual miles; only one owner since new; never in rain, and always garaged under cover. The original 351 Ford Windsor V8 engine starts immediately and is totally stock with no modifications. Original 2-barrel carburetor, original air cleaner, original stickers, original engine paint, original spark plugs. Original dual exhaust. Runs perfectly on regular unleaded gasoline and there are no issues; no smoke, no leaks, no noises. The Ford 3-speed automatic transmission shifts nicely and the 3.15 rearend provides relaxed high speed use. Accelerates on par with a mid-'70s Corvette and cruises at 75-80 mph smoothly. Power steering and power disc brakes for safe effortless driving.Very nice driving car; as when brand new. Totally original interior in immaculate condition with the tan suede bucket seats and factory floor shifter. Original carpets, original seat covers, original interior door panels - all immaculate. Factory air conditioning; blows ice cold. Factory 160mph speedometer, factory 8000 RPM tachometer, factory gauges for oil pressure, water temperature, amps, and fuel level - all work properly. Original AM/FM/clock radio; sounds great. Factory Personal leather steering wheel in excellent condition and with a tilt steering column. No marks on any of the surfaces, no wear on any of the controls. No sunfade on the instruments, no cracks in the dash. Extremely nice, very comfortable original interior. All original body with factory perfect plastic body panels bonded onto an alloy chassis skeleton. The Safety Orange color is impregnated into the plastic panels and is perfect; as bright & shiny as when new and with no fading or chalking. No nicks, no chips, and both front & rear energy-absorbing bumpers have never been scraped. The factory alloy wheels are excellent and are still fitted wih the original BFGoodrich Radial T/A FR60-15 tires in excellent condition. The car has always been stored under cover, out of direct sunlight, and away from ozone-generating electric motors and these original tires have no signs of cracking or dry rotting. The power gullwing doors open & close quickly & smoothly at the press of the button and both windows also operate smoothly. Perfect original weatherstripping and hatch seal. Dual side mirrors with remote on the driver's side. Factory pop-up headlights open & close correctly when the headlights are turned on & off. The original owner's manual and factory stereo operating manual are included and the car has just been detailed and hand waxed. Runs & drives perfectly; this is a truly immaculate one-owner car in 100% original condition and with exceptionally low original miles. Museum quality; investment grade?? Definitely.
