I purchased this car from the original owner in July when it had 20,157 miles. We have a second home in San Diego and it was the intent that this would be our car for there. Unfortunately, my health has deteriorated since then (pacemaker/defibrillator) and we have been unable to spend any time there. The 2000 miles which have been added since July consists mainly of three drives from/to Phoenix-San Diego. This is simply too nice of a car to sit unused in a garage. Everything works as it should on the car and the soft top is in excellent condition. The hard top is like new since it was stored at the dealer since it was new until I purchased the car. I have copies of all the receipts for dealer service since March 2004 which were provided by the dealer (their history files only retain the past 10 yrs service) and this tracks the mileage from 6990 miles. Added: 12-29-14 - The original radio has been replaced by a Pioneer unit to take advantage of the built in telephone for hands free operation. The original radio is included should one want to reinstall that. Also, a small screen displays the read view when the car is placed in reverse - that is separate from the radio and a heads up display shows your speed on the windshield. These are all add ons and not factory equipment and can be removed if one likes.
