Vehicle Detail

Final price drop on this truck as I need to sell it soon. Last time spending $90 to list this here on ebay to be tormented with non-compliant ebay 'buyers'. I also have some Land Rover Defender 90 and 110 turbo-diesels for sale and a Citroen 2CV, and GS Special for sale, type 'laughs and lashings' into a Google search to find more pictures and information. This is a terrific opportunity to buy a reliable, soft-dash 1995 LWB Classic Rover for under $11K. Cost more than my opening bid price to build, but I am unfortunately in a position right now that I must sell this truck as quickly as possible. The auto 300tdi trucks are much more rare and more expensive to build, and this particular truck runs great and is economical to run, if it were spring or summer I think it would have sold long ago for much more money. I usually get $12,000 and up for completed Tdi Rover conversions, but I know this is not a good time of year for selling cars so am offering this truck up for my cost in the interest of selling it quickly. Take advantage of the season, and ME, and buy this great fuel-efficient Range Rover now~ 503-810-4713 Hi all - Please read entire ad before asking questions, and if you would like to contact me, please call 503-810-4713 and do not text, I do not receive text messages! This truck is available to purchase here in Portland Oregon, and is for sale by other methods and locally, so I reserve the right to end this auction at any time. I am a licensed and bonded auto dealer, and do hold a current clear title at this time. I have more pictures and details of this and other trucks I am selling on my blog, type 'Laughs and Lashings' into a Google search and it will pop right up! I am open to reasonable near offers on this truck too - Please call / send me your email address to discuss and make your offer. I am selling this 1995 LWB Range Rover Classic that I converted to an automatic 300 Tdi turbo diesel engine. (I also sell Tdi engine kits so if you are looking for one, just message me). The truck body has 184,850 miles on it (and as I am driving it presently that number will go up) and the engine and gearbox have 120K on them. The diesel conversion was performed 1500 miles ago. This Range Rover soft dash is not going to win any car shows for its cosmetic condition - IT does have several small dings, nicks, and scratches consistent with a 20 year old vehicle, but overall it looks very nice and is solid and ready to use. It could use some TLC here and there if you want a perfect truck, but you will be hard pressed to find another Range Rover Classic Soft Dash LWB Diesel anywhere at any price. The conversion alone cost $12,000 and then you also need to find the donor vehicle, and 1995 Classics sell for a premium. This is a great affordable way to get into a diesel Land Rover and have a nice daily driver that, if you feel you need to, you can work on making look perfect over time. Truck has no water leaks, sunroof opens and closes properly and does not leak at all. Windows all work. A pleasure and easy to drive, but if you want to tow a boat/ trailer/ etc this may not be the best choice as it is considered a small diesel engine at 2.5L - A far cry from a full size Dodge or Ford tow rig. It does get quite a bit better mileage though... And has a classic sharp European look that a normal pickup truck will not have. This is a great Vehicle and makes an excellent daily driver~ Superior gas mileage! It is solid, rust free body (that's not to say that you couldn't search the truck over and find a spot of surface rust here and there, as to be expected from a vehicle this age, but it has spent it's entire life on the West Coast away from salted winter roads) and running great. The options are all working (like the power windows, the stereo, etc) unless I have mentioned further down that they are not working. Here are some specifics: The engine has new seals, timing belt, tensioner and idler and valve adjustment and valve cover gasket. Nice Toyo A/T Open Country tires 255/65/R16 with about 50-60% tread left. The springs and shocks are brand new, I replaced the air suspension with them- Old Man Emu and Gabriel- with a 2" lift. I replaced the front seats with P38 European manual front seats (an upgrade I usually charge $500 for!) so you no longer have to worry about the constant power seat failures. They are a slightly darker brown leather- see photos. The hood is lifted slightly- about a 1/2" or just a little more to accommodate the air conditioning compressor that was added to the Tdi engine--( if you have a wife like mine, a car without air conditioning is one you WON'T be owning!! ) I took a picture of the gap, it is hard to notice unless you are looking for it. The headliner is brand new- just installed. Here are some of the not-so-perfect details: The gold paint on the front driver's fender and door is slightly a different gold than the original-- see photos The power mirrors do not work as the ECU for it was removed with the power seats. The upper rear hatch has some rust at the bottom, but is in good working condition. These are easy to replace if you decide to do so. The power door lock on one door is not working when you use the central locking/ lock from outside so it has to be locked/ unlocked manually (Passenger side rear door) The SRS and BRAKE lights stay on due to electrical glitches. The front brush guard's finish has peeled off and needs repainting--see photos The passenger rear tail light has a chip out of it- also pictured. It is missing one fog light. Over all this is a great diesel Range Rover that your friends will all be jealous of! I AM A LICENSED, INSURED AND BONDED DEALER. Oregon dealer # DA4226 If you are the winner of this auction, you are expected to pay a $500 deposit at the conclusion of the auction by Paypal, and the balance within 5 days by most any other certified method. I can store the truck for you while you work out collection details, and you are encouraged to come and see the truck in person before bidding/ buying. If you can not comply with these payment instructions, please do not bid without contacting me first. Please email me WITH YOUR PHONE # with any questions you may have. You can also call me, but no texting please, at 503-810-4713. I can not respond to messages without contact information. IF YOU HAVE LESS THAN 10 FEEDBACK, please message me first BEFORE BIDDING with your contact information, or I will have to cancel your bid! Too may new ebay people like to bid, and then not follow through. Not cool. Looking forward to any questions you may have. Please check my blog at 'laughs and lashings' for pictures of many completed trucks I have built and sold. Please check my ebay feedback for reviews of the vehicles and engine kits I have sold to bidders/buyers/customers This truck is for sale locally too, and I reserve the right to end this auction at any time. If you truly want to buy this truck, I suggest you bid now, or at the very least call me to discuss buying the truck and present any questions you may have. Thank you!
