This is a pretty rare truck, I believe they only made about 500 flare sides in 1977 The body is virtually rust free, the floor pans have no rust at all. the best thing about this truck is the body is very tight and it drive smooth and quiet not like an older truck at all.The bed wood is very nice and sides and tailgate are very straight.The truck has mostly the original paint from what I can tell. The truck was owned by an elderly relative who live way out and used it to go into the city for supplies, the four wheel drive was hardly ever used if at all.The truck is a 4x4 with a automatic transmission and locking hubs. It starts and runs without smoking but has a bad valve so low compression on one cylinder . It is a really nice looking truck with no dents or rust except one small spot where there are some bubble under the paint behind the steps.The truck has always been in California and has the blue license plates. It hasn't been licensed since 2011 but I have the ownership papers and a certificate of non operation so there are no back fees Nice easy project. All the original emissions equipment is still on the truck, it will need a valve job to pass California emissions testing so I am selling it as a project. It can be driven like it is but misses a little. It has a nice. Insulated all aluminum camper shell with tinted sliding windows. I have some aluminum steps that go with it. Will be happy to meet shipper and help load. May deliver locally for gas.
