1969 El Camino SS. Originally a 396 but transformed into a MONSTER with a Brand New Crate motor built by Mark Jones at Vortec Pro Performance out of Colorado Springs, Colo(http://www.vortecproperformance.com/engine_combinations.html). It started as a 454ci bored to 468ci. This motor out of the crate has been dyno'd at 570HP/580TQ it has less than 1,000 mi.- (I have 9 others cars I drive). This motor has 9.7 : 1.0 Copression ratio. Hot Cam, Billet Serpentine Belt Pulley System ($2,000 alone), Hydratech Braking System (http://www.hydratechbraking.com/GM_A_Body.html). This system stops on a dime. Dual Exhaust, Headers, New Turbo 400 Transmission with shift kit (has auto feature to go from 1st to 2nd in the event you to forget shift - when in manual mode), 3.73 Rear End. 17" American Racing Chrome Rims shod with BF g-Force T/A's 255/45 ZR17's. The interior is near MINT condition. This El Camino starts on the 1st turn of the key nearly everytime. The best thing about this car is the sound and the stance. It sounds deep and throaty with a nice lope from the cam. The car has been lowered about 2" to look level (front to back) and fill in the wheel wells.
