This is a real Cobra Jet Q code 4 speed 1972 Cougar. One of 877 with the equipped with the Cobra Jet package, 156 of which had 4 speeds. Original Engine, Original 4 Speed, Original Styled Steel Wheels. As you can see from the Elite Marti Report - this is the only car ever optioned in this manner - a True One of One car. This car does not drive well - it drives Fantastic! This car does have damage to the rear on the drivers side that will have to be addressed upon restoration. However it is purely cosmetic, it does not effect the driveability of the vehicle (although I would be careful about placing smaller items that roll around in the trunk). The car - originally gold - has been painted a sharp black color - I get a two word reaction to the blacked out bumper and grille treatment - "Way Cool". If you are looking for a rare, cool car that drives beautifully today and can be restored to perfection at the time of your choosing - you should consider purchasing this vehicle.
