This is an authentic 1969 X33 Z-28 but it does not have the original engine and transmission. The engine is a HT383 GM crate engine with less than 1,000 miles on it. The transmission is a turbo 400 automatic with a B&M shifter. I am the 3rd owner of this car and I have owned it since 1977. The original owner blew the engine up and I tried to track it down but had no luck. The interior is in good condition with the clutch pedal still in place. There is a patch in the drivers side floor about the size of a baseball.The rest of the floor pans are in good shape. The trunk has some rust scale but no holes.The rear quarters have been replaced and the right rear has some small bubbles that are not very noticeable. The hood,front fenders and door skins were replaced in the mid 1980s with Genuine GM parts. The car has never been driven in bad weather since I have owned it. There is a small dent in the left rear quarter panel near the spoiler. The rearend is the original 12 bolt posi that has been serviced with new bearings and posi-lube. There is a NOS rear body panel that I purchased years ago from GM when it was still available That is included. Also a new gas tank and straps were installed about a year ago. I also have the original bell housing,clutch linkage and 4 speed transmission crossmember. This is not a show car but it is a true X33 Z-28 that looks good and still gets a lot of attention. Can be driven anywhere. I have a clear Indiana title.
