I try to describe the positives & negatives of this vehicle accurately in this description. This Ford F-150 runs & drives quite well! Low miles, only 134K actual miles on this truck. I purchased this vehicle from another dealer in Ohio and have driven it about 125 miles since - it runs and drives quite nice! Previously, I believe this truck was owned by Dominion Power services, which supplies natural gas to parts of Ohio and PA - and was therefore fleet maintained for some portion of its life. It is a Bi-Fuel CNG & Gasoline engine, which means it has the system to run both Compressed Natural Gas and regular pump gasoline, so no need to worry about not being able to find a CNG pump or even mess with the CNG system at all if you don't want to! If you're looking for a CNG truck, I don't need to explain the benefits of CNG to you -- if you're not looking for a CNG truck then this truck will still work just fine for you too! Rare to find a bi-fuel truck with extended cab! The 5.4L V8-cylinder engine runs strong with plenty of power. The automatic transmission shifts smooth with no issues at all. The only downside of the powertrain that I can find is, the CNG system is not working properly although the truck still runs perfectly normal on regular gasoline. With gasoline, the truck fires right up without hesitation and runs great. I filled the truck with CNG but it will not start when the fuel selector is switched to "ALT" except once I got a few sputters - switch it back to normal gasoline and she fires right up immediately. I do not have the proper tools or knowledge to diagnose the problem and am selling it as-is. My guess is that the CNG system might not have been used for a while and needs to be gone through in order to work properly again - it looks complete and doesn't look like anything has been removed. This Ford is equipped with the XL pacakge which means standard work truck options like roll windows, manual locks, rubber floors and vinyl seats (easy with nothing to break!). It is also equipped with the 7700 Package, which is a heavy duty package that gives you a variety of enhancements over a normal F-150 including larger brakes, heavier duty frame & wheels, and more. Zero accident history per autocheck! Mechanically, this F150 is in quite good condition. The engine & transmission are 100% aside from the previously mentioned CNG issues. The brakes stop the truck smooth and straight. While driving the steering & suspension components appears to be in very good shape - no rattles, no suspension noise, everything is tight and well sorted. I haven't noticed any leaks coming from this truck. The 4 tires are all in nearly new condition matching 235/70/16 Trail Guide A/T, with very good tread remaining (see pics) mounted on factory steel wheels. The vehicle drives straight down the road. A very slight vibration is noticable over 60 MPH, but very slight. Overall, this vehicle drives very nicely for its age. Spare tire is present. The heat works well and the van blows on all power levels and blows wherever you want it to (defrost, vents, floor, etc). The A/C hasn't been tested because its been quite cold outside. The Ford is equipped with AM/FM/CASSETTE, but the radio doesn't appear to power on (haven't looked into it). No check engine lights or other warning lights on this truck. The exhaust has no noticable leaks and sounds good. All of the gauges read properly and there are no abnormal readings except the temperature gauge stays more towards the cool side even after long driving. The engine runs smooth with no lack of power at all - very strong. All of the windows and locks work like they should. Quite a nice running and driving vehicle, I would not hesitate to drive this one anywhere! Cosmetically -- this vehicle looks in nice shape. The exterior paint is in good condition. Like many F-150s, the passenger rocker panel is rusted underneath rather significantly - the driver's side seems to be pretty solid. Some normal scratches and so on and what looks to be some old light mounts on the top, but no major body damage at all. If you look really hard at the tailgate at the right lighting angle, you can see the outlines of old vinyl lettering from Dominion - but very very hard to see. All glass is in-tact and in good condition except for a couple "star" cracks in the windshield that look to be repairable. The interior is in nice condition. The driver's seat shows some previous repairs, but overall the seats are in nice shape. Door panels are attached nicely. Rubber floors are in good shape. Check out the pictures - they speak for themselves! I have tried to capture both the positives and the flaws in those pictures. Overall, this F-150 shows nice and will be a vehicle that you can be proud of! I have tried my best to represent this vehicle accurately and to the best of my abilities. Earning and keeping a 100% positive feedback rating is very important to me! I purchase most of my vehicles as trade-ins from new car dealerships as traded. I test drive each vehicle on the expressway and around town for at least 20 miles, often over 100 miles, and use that experience to represent the vehicle to you on eBay. I am not a mechanic, nor do I put the vehicles through any sort of "service" or inspection unless otherwise noted. I try my best to describe the flaws as well as I can.
