For Sale: 1987 Mercedes 560 SEL. 5.6 V-8, cold A/C with climate control, AT, PW, PM, PDL, PS, PTW, both driver & passenger power seats with memory, ABS brakes, central locking system, alloy wheels, and new Alpine AM/FM stereo with C/D player. This is one of the cleanest Mercedes S Class cars with many, many replacement parts and services performed to make this car become a surviving classic. This 1987 Mercedes drives better than a 2005 E Class Mercedes. Within the last year we replaced the following: new high performance tires, new brakes front & rear, rebuilt transmission by Mercedes certified technician, new belts, new hoses, new thermostat, new electric cooling fan, new alternator, new blower motor, new grille, new headlights, new window tint, new spark plug wires, new engine mounts, and a lower mileage motor replaced into car about 4000 miles ago. Replacement motor has about 66,000 miles on the clock. Before replacement motor installed, engine timing chains & tensioners replaced new. All seats were recovered with new gray velour automotive material and seats were re-foamed removing Mercedes horse hair. Seats are better now then when the car was new. This car needs nothing! Documents are available illustrating all mechanical work done by Mercedes technicians.
