I am selling this jeep as a project. I started it a little over a year ago after I discovered the timing case was cracked, and sending water into the crank case. I have pulled the engine, torn in down and it is in pieces ready to be re-built. It had an amc 304 in it, but that was not original, previous owner put it in. It has an AMC 20 rear, dana front, dana 300 transfer case and t-176 manual transmission. Before storing the jeep, I repacked the rear wheel bearing and put new brake component on the rear. It has a new clutch to match up to the 304. I have extra parts for this jeep laying around, gladly send them with new owner, or if someone just wants this as a shell for other type of project. the frame and Body are in good shape. the previous owner did paint it-I call the job ok, but it has helped protect the jeep a bit. Its been in southern Utah since march of 13 and hasn't seen any salt, or other corrosive materials since then. Please keep in mind this is a project. I want this jeep to find a home to get some attention, and if it lands close by I would enjoy helping anyone with the work and giving them the parts I might have.
