Selling my 2000 Ford E350 diesel cargo van. This is a Super Duty model that has the meaty 7.3L engine. The van runs strong, no issues with the tranny and the body has normal wear & tear considering it's age. Some rust, but nothing out of the ordinary for Ford vans. There is also a class 4 hitch installed. (I'll be taking back off Storm Trooper hitch cover). So what's the catch? Well, here in New York we just had the first snow of the year--and just my luck, another driver lost control and I hit the brakes to avoid it. Guess who ended up off the road in a ditch while the other person drove away without stopping? Yup, lucky me. Thankfully it wasn't bad at all, as you can see in the pictures. Only very minor ding in the bumper and that's it visually. However, the wheels weren't turning when I got it towed back on the road. At least the following parts need to be replaced: center link, tie rod, cross-member. In other words, it needs front suspension work. Since I've been procrastinating about selling this van for a while now, I guess it's time to get it listed here on Ebay and just unload it. (I do have another van that I use for work, which is why this one was expendable). Oh and, aside from the front suspension work, the overdrive button does not work. I've hauled a 20-ft car trailer with this van and didn't have the need for overdrive though. That 7.3L motor is an absolute beast! From what I am now told, the "cross member" holds up the engine--and that is NOT the part which needs replacing.
