Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 1969 Camaro, factory RS, 4 speed, X-11 coupe. It is a very nice, solid Camaro with no visible rust anywhere that I can find. All the body panels are original and rust free, as well as the floors. The trunk has a couple of patches, but the shock mounts are original and in perfect shape. The hugger orange paint with white rally stripes is about a year old and looks very good. The interior is in very good shape as well with exception of the front door panels; they are missing the arm rests and have a few minor scuffs/tears. Other than that the seats have no rips or tears anywhere, carpet is good, headliner is good, dash is good, etc… It is an original V8 car (1243 VIN), and I was told when I bought it that the motor in it is the original #’s matching motor but I never checked the numbers to verify that for myself. The car was originally a Rallye Green with a White vinyl top RS which makes is a pretty rare combination. It has a 10 bolt Posi rear, power steering, center console with Hurst shifter, performance headers & dual exhaust, aluminum radiator, etc... It was originally a 3 speed manual (and it comes with the original transmission). I removed the vacuum tank for the hide-away headlights to change the rubber lines but never got around to it (it is included with the car). I removed the chrome strip between the front & rear windows to replace it but never got around to it. Also the top piece of windshield molding is missing (I think it blew away on the highway). Other than that she is in very good shape - turn the key and enjoy. Motor runs very strong, and the transmission/clutch shift smooth. Brakes and steering are in good working order as well. Overall it runs great, sounds awesome, is very reliable, and turns heads wherever I go. My priorities have changed so I regretfully have to let it go.
