Up for auction is a 2012 Volkswagen GTI that we just finished. This car was previously damaged lightly in the front. The car looked like it ran under the back of a truck, the damage was above the frame rails. It did ignite the dash airbag but we replaced the dash and airbag with quality used items from our inventory. Items replaced include the front fenders, hood, grille and bumper. The cooling systems were also replaced. The majority of our business is Volkswagen and Audi so we are familiar with the factory standards and this car was repaired in the same fashion. We included a picture of the vehicle before repair also. The car runs and drives as good as new. The interior and exterior are in excellent shape and the car has almost new tires. There are no issues with any of the mechanical or electrical systems (no check engines, etc.) All the necessary California Safety inspections have been done along with an alignment. This car is ready to go. We took a lot of pictures but if you need some more details or general questions please feel free to let us know. These are great cars and this is a prime example. Buyers: California: We have a California Bill of Sale along with the safety inspection receipts, with these documents you can go to DMV and pay the registration fees and have it transferred into your name. Sales tax must be collected by us at the time of sale, you do not pay sales tax at DMV. We can also have the car registered into a buyers name for an additional fee, please let us know if you have any questions. Out of State or Export. After paying for the vehicle, we will have DMV provide what is called a Title Only. We will register the vehicle into the buyers name and out of state address and DMV will send a California Title (showing previous history of Salvage). This process takes approximately 7-10 days. We have found this is the easiest way for customers to register in their state. The vehicle can not be driven with a Title Only, you still must have it transported via truck to avoid paying California Sales Tax. If the vehicle is not being transported we are obligated by California State Board to collect sales tax.
