Vehicle Detail

This vehicle belongs to my wife's uncle. He bought it as a very young pediatrician in 1966 and has had it ever since. The title is free, clean and clear. It is the original title from 1966. He drove the car and took excellent care of it. His son, now a doctor also, drove it in college and then it lived in the garage until about 5 years ago. Its been under a tarp outside since then. Dreams of restoring it came and went several times, but with three grand daughters, time has grown short and priorities have shifted. The last time is was on the road was 1991. The whole family really loved this car and they took pics standing beside it before I loaded it up on the trailer. HERE ARE THE VITAL STATS:1966 MGB ONE OWNER LIFE LONG SOUTHERN CAR FROM KENTUCKYLAST YEAR FOR THE CHROME BUMPERENGINE TURNS FREELY AND HAS OIL IN CRANK CASE AND ON DIPSTICKALL PARTS ARE THERE HAS ADDITIONAL PARTS, SPARE DUAL CARB SET UP ETC This car is a solid #5 on the old car price guide. It needs restored, but IT IS ALL THERE. It has not been scavenged for parts and even has some additional parts with it, including a two carb set up, some bulbs, roadster cover, etc. We have taken pics so as to give an accurate depiction of condition. We are not trying to hide anything, but are trying to show everything. Tires are all dry rotted. It has the original knock off spoke wheels and a spare tire/wheel in the trunk. There is rust. Over the years, several panels have been replaced and/or repaired, but may be rusted again or now have rust in different places. Top has a hole in it (in the pics) but has now been taped over with Gorilla Duct Tape. The steering wheel is broken (hard to see but its cracked). The vehicle will sell to the highest bidder. The car is located in Elizabethtown, KY. If you have any questions, please email us through ebay and send your phone number so we can call, do a FaceTime walk around of the car, etc. These cars are getting hard to find, and this car could be a show piece with some time and patience. It is not a large car with acres and acres of surface area to deal with, but nice and compact. What parts you do need are easily accessible for this unit. It is on my trailer and I would be willing to transport up to 500 miles for $1.50 per loaded mile. Any further and we would have to talk about some creative alternatives. Thanks for looking at our auction and giving my wife's uncle the hope of knowing someone will restore it to its original glory.
