1992 TOYOTA Celica Convertible CLEAR Title – Needs head gasket Repair and drive – Project Restoration or just for parts This sweet little convertible needs a little love and attention to once again return to its glory days. For those of us who love our Toyota’s, here’s your opportunity to make this a daily driver or restoration project. As seen in the photos, the body is solid with the exception of one small spot rust area on the right rear wheel well (see photos). This leather seats are in fair to good condition with the exception of the driver’s seat which is in need of some new upholstery. You see it as we took ownership of it. As will all my auctions and my long standing positive Ebay feedback, I do my sincere best to present vehicles being sold as accurately as possible. Here is what I know: The Celica was towed to us, quit running. After installing a set of spark plugs we were able to start the engine but soon found the source of mechanical issue… head-gasket failure. We shut the engine off and gave our customer the bad news. The customer decided not to repair and sold the car to us. Given the low mileage (112056 miles) on the 2.2 Liter Toyota 4-cylinder engine, more often than not a head gasket replacement will solve the issue and provide many more years and miles of good use.
