Car history: "Back in the 1960's my then to be husband had a 1962 roman red corvette the same as this one. In 1971 he bought a house, started his own mason business and we got married. He had to sell the corvette to a friend of his because he couldn't do his business out of a corvette. In 1981 the same year our daughter was born he finally found another one to start working on. He started the off frame restoration nights, weekends, rainy days and in the winter when it was to cold for mason to work. He also borrowed the car (The same one he sold to his friend) so that he could make sure everything was right. In may of 1985 he was finally finished. Then soon after started taking it to local car shows and hang outs. We still have numerous plaques and trophies from the shows he entered. Now that my husband has passed I need to let it go because of the reminder.... I can't push the clutch in anymore so I can't even drive it. My husband put a lot of time and effort into this car to make sure that it was a exact and would love for it to go to someone who is going to appreciate its worth. " Thanks for looking...Rita
