I am relisting this car after a closer inspection of it's condition so I can give more details. 1976 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. This car is from an estate of a collector who had numerous vintage Cadillacs. Odometer presently shows 55,556 the title dated 1-27-94 shows 73,528 I cannot verify mileage other than that the odometer presently works.You are welcome to inspect the car in person, or have a representative look at the car at your expense. It is being sold as-is, where-is, with no warranty except for clear Connecticut title. Connecticut no longer issues titles to vehicles over 20 years old but I do have the current valid title for the car that will be transferred along with a bill of sale. The good: Car has twin front 6-way power leather seats in decent condition with no rips or tears. Carpet is in very good condition (a bit dirty, though) with a small tear on the passenger side. There is an aftermarket Realistic 40 channel CB phone mounted to the center hump, the antenna for it is wired and in the trunk. The engine always starts right up with no smoke, and drives and shifts as it should, based on a short drive from the estate to my home. The HVAC auto temperature control operates normally. Power windows and locks appear to work as they should. Tilt and telescopic wheel function nice. Exterior lights and signals work. Headliner is clean and does not sag. The dash is not cracked. The interior does not show it's age at all. The twilight sentinel operates as it should. Rear window and fender-mounted fiber optics operate as they should. The cons: An older repaint in dark blue (original color is light blue) is showing its age. Missing the fender skirts. Some rust where the skirts once attached. There are some rust scabs showing throughout the body (see photos). In the day we'd call this car a "10 footer". The rear bumper is rotted through and someone covered it with metallic tape. The rear cross member immediately forward of the rear bumper is rusted through as well. Vinyl top has a few minor cracks. Drivers side exhaust manifold gasket leaks, as such it is a bit loud until it warms up. The exhaust is older and leaking in spots but does not appear excessively loud. Stops but brakes appear "touchy". I have not attempted to use the parking brake due to the age of the car and it's apparent years of disuse. The drive train shows oil stains but there doesn't appear to be any leaks that cause drips except for the valve cover gaskets which are leaking. The power antenna is up and does not go down. I don't know whether or not the cruise control works but the dash light does illuminate. The HVAC fan delay switch was not operating properly (this prevents the heater fan from coming on when the car is cold) so it has been bypassed so the fan will operate throughout its range to heat and defrost the car. I do not know the integrity of the AC part of the system due to low temperatures. Tires have tread but are older and show signs of cracking. TERMS: I require a $250 nonrefundable deposit via PayPal within 24 hours of offer acceptance, balance due upon pickup. Balance can be made by cash in person, cashiers check, or US postal money order. The car runs and drives good, but it has not been driven much in last 2 years and is currently not registered, so it will need to be towed or trailered . Car is located in Marlborough, CT 06447. It is the buyers responsibility to pick up the car or make shipping arrangements. Again, car must be towed or trailered for reasons stated. Car is sold "AS IS-WHERE IS" so inspect the car in person.
