2000 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible - Up for auction is my wifes 2000 Chevy Camaro convertible with NO RESERVE! - As an Ebay seller with 100% positive feedback at this time I promise to do my best to describe what I can to help assist buyers in making an informative decision. I have sold several vehicles on Ebay and have shipped coast to coast. - We have replaced our Camaro with a 4 door 300C and no longer have the space. (Our loss your gain as we have too many vehicles and must park them on the grass in front of our house. ) - Chevrolet 3.8L V6 engine was completely internally rebuilt in October 2011. To help step up the power of the V6 Engine a hydraulic roller comp cam for mild performance and MSD ignition and K&N intake was added at that time. Heads were upgraded with new valve springs because of the cam specs requirement. Engine invoices, receipts, balance card and paperwork for $2,625 comes with the Camaro. There are no known issues with the engine. Check engine light has been on ever since the engine was fully rebuilt in 2011 because it was modified for performance. Buyer is responsible for the smog check for this reason. Seller will not be responsible for state compliance or smog inspection or certification in any state. -This Camaro has been very reliable for my wife it has never broken down and can be driven long distances. Fly in drive home! Odometer is 165689 Engine actual miles are 24,300 Transmission actual miles is 48,300Engine and transmission are the heart of any vehicle. This Camaro has over $3,200 in recent shop work for complete rebuilds on both with all paperwork to back it up! - Radiator was replaced in 2011- Battery replaced in 2012 - Automatic overdrive transmission was removed and rebuilt into a high performance 4L60E with a trans go shift kit in September 2008. Transmission invoices and receipts for $1,645 comes with the Camaro. Transmission shifts perfectly and shifts hard from 1st to 2nd because of the upgrades. - Brake system looks like it has been changed out previously to an upgraded 4 wheel disc with cross drilled rotors. - Safety: Driver and Passenger air bags - Security system: Viper Alarm with remote engine start. On occasion the remote control start does not function because of a possible loose wire. This is an easy fix and is a good option to have. - Newer convertible top and glass rear window replaced in 2012 at a cost of $1,200. - Front shocks are an adjustable aftermarket type - Interior is very clean there are no issues with the dash, seats or the carpet as its in great condition. - Stereo CD player unit comes with the car as shown in the photos below. Has aux wiring and amp wiring ready to install a trunk mounted sound system if desired. - Tires have 33% life left. Wheels are 20" premium custom wheels that look great however they give the Camaro a bumpy stiff ride. A smaller wheel and larger tire size is recommended for more comfortable driving. Buyer can sell these wheels for more than the cost of the replacement wheels if desired. - Body and paint is overall glossy red in good condition. There are some minor scratches on the paint. The body is completely straight. Front passenger fender has a small crack (see photos) from a a dip because the wheels are too big. Rear trunk cover where is says Camaro has a small crack from sound system with (2) 10" subwoofers that were installed in the rear trunk area. Subs have been removed to stop anymore damage from taking place. Rear bumper has some clear coat fading. -Air conditioning wont hold a charge as there is a leak in the condenser or a hose. Compressor works excellent last time I charged it it held for a week. -Heater, Power steering, Tilt steering, Power brakes , Power door locks, Power windows, Radio, HID Headlights, Turn signals, Brake lights, Convertible top, Back up reverse LED lights, speedometer, gauges and Cruise control all are fully functional.
