Vehicle Detail
This is NOT your dime-a-dozen 6-door "funeral car" (typically only a 46" stretch). It's a 60" stretch and what's referred to as a "24 hour car" that can do funeral duty during the day and entertainment at night. The body was built by Federal. There are middle doors, but they are hidden (no handles). They pop open with buttons hidden in the door jambs. The car has an ice chest and glass/bottle storage in the middle doors. It has a factory LT1 and runs strong. It stops just as well as it goes with giant commercial-car spec brakes.Everything works: front and rear heat & ac, both power antennas, glass partition, mood lighting (new - replaced with LEDs), etc. I added the following:-Additional battery in the trunk w/ isolator-2,000 watt sound system with touch screen head unit-In-dash monitor in the front-Haeir LCD TV-Brand new vinyl roof with a sunroof in the rear passenger compartment ($1,700 alone)- HID headlights- HID strobes behind the grill- LEDGLOW underbody light kit around the entire perimeter (rear tube is out - $40 to replace)- 0-gauge wiring throughout (battery to starter, battery to alternator, all grounds, etc.)- Custom built 240-amp alternator- Custom cooling fans w/ thermostat installed on the aux condenser and oil cooler- New (last season) A/C compressor, orifice and accumulators (there are 2)Tires are probably 80% (left front is brand new). I have an extra set of nice factory rims.Known defects:-Needs an exhaust system. This is my second Fleetwood limo. Meineke installed a complete system on my first limo for $600. You may be able to do better. Rock Auto has a complete kit for $400 -- you'd have to have the 60" stretch part custom bent.-Hood release cable snapped - $50. I just rigged it up so you can open the hood from under the front bumper-Parking brake cable snapped. Would need to have a new cable made upAsking price reflects all of the above. Make me an offer! Title in-hand. If interested, and willing to pay close to the asking price, I have another LT1 engine for backup in the garage (roughly the same mileage on it). I also have an extra, good front bumper.
