Vehicle Detail

This is a very well taken care of and solid driving late MGB. The previous owner did a lot of work to sort out much of the "MGness" that these car have a reputation for. The Zenith-Stromberg carb has been kicked to the curb in favor of a Weber conversion. All engine bay wiring has been gone-through and sorted at the same time that the Motor was gone through with fresh bearings and seals, Roughly 30,000 miles ago. The interior has been refreshed and brought up to date with all new carpet and dash pad. Under the pad the dash looks great with no cracks. It has 1st gen Miata seats which are great at being comfortable and keeping with the roadster feel. The rear seat is out of an MGB-GT and is their to improve the aesthetics of the cabin. This interior stays clean and dry thanks to the help of a new reproduction top. Also comes with a tonneau cover that we have not fitted but previous owner mentioned it was super tight over the larger Miata seats. A rear wind-dampening screen bolts right behind the front seats and makes for a much more enjoyable time cruising. It is a super reliable and comfortable roadster that is easy to put miles on. Paint is relatively fresh with a removable vinyl stripe. The car also benefits from period correct minilite style wheels, I believe they are Panasports or similar. Fresh Pirelli tires all the way around. Only mechanial issue with the car is a small short in what seems to be the aftermarket head unit wiring. This causes the radio to be temperamental and slowly drain the battery. Luckily this car is fitted with a racecar style electrical disconnect located behind the passenger seat. we have been flipping this switch when parking the car and have not experienced any battery draining. Overall this is a fun roadster that I would not hesitate to drive anywhere. It is available to be seen and driven at Lotus Maserati Greenville in South Carolina.
