Up for auction is a 1971 ford mustang grande coupe, this is a m-code coupe meaning it has the high compression 351cleveland engine NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE BOSS 351 CLEVELAND THIS IS NOT A BOSS 351 ENGINE. This engine has the 4 stamped in the corner of the cylinder heads with a dot (see pictures) the heads have very large ports and valves with small quench combustion chambers. upgrades have been made like a competition cams 268h camshaft with matching valvesprings, ford motorsports roller rockers, edelbrock performer intake manifold, holley 650 double pumper carb. hooker headers long tube headers, points ignition was removed and a ford duraspark electronic ignition was added along with a accel supercoil. Car just had new spark plugs and spark plug wires installed 2 weeks ago. Car has factory power steering and power disc brakes. did have air conditioning but is long gone.Transmission is a c-6 which shifts very well, drops right into gear no hesitation. transmission has had no modifications and is stock, it has been recently serviced due to a leaking pan gasket which has been fixed.Rear differential is a ford 9 inch with a 3.50 gearset which gives the car much better performance. all brakes in the rear are new.Car has newer rear leaf springs and shackles and front progressive coil springs installed about 4 years ago. Car has front power disc brakes. we recently replaced rotors and brake pads (see pics)Car has brand new American racing torque thrust D aluminum wheels, we painted the centers black, they were gray. Tires are brand new (see pics)Interior has been redone with new carpet, new door panels, front seats were recovered, back seat is in excellent condition as is all the plastics. Car has a FULL LENGTH CONSOLE that's in very good condition but the clock does not work. Car has a 4 POINT ROLLBAR also installed (see pics). Car has factory tach (WORKS GOOD) Factory gauges did work but were disconnected for aftermarket gauges. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!! THE FOLLOWING IS WHATS WRONG WITH THE CAR! The car needs a windshield due to a crack on the far right side (see pics). The car was repainted some time ago but the bodywork is wavy above the right rear quarter panel area (see pics). The paint and bodywork was not done professionally!! yes it shines pretty good but there are a lot of flaws! This car is great for somebody looking for a good dependable driver, it runs great, drives great, heater works very well, I don't see any rust on this car! quarters, doors, fenders, all look great. one issue I did see is the cowl vents are closed off most likely due to rusted cowl hats (see pics). Car is being sold as is no warranty. PLEASE NOTE this car was my fathers, I recently acquired due to his health reasons. I have title in hand.
