Up for sale is my 1959 Chevy Napco 4X4 pickup. It is a 1/2 tom shortbed, with a small window cab. This is a real deal Napco with riveted crossmember. It is equipped with the original 235 6 cylinder engine, 4 speed SM-420 transmission. The truck needs full restoration. I resqued it from a body shop, and it was sold to me on a lein sale. I have the legal, certified lein sale paperwork. The frame and running gear are all in good condition. The cab and bed need quite a bit of rust repair, as evident from the pictures. The front windshield was removed to repair some rust damage. The bed needs new wood, and a small amount of rust repaired. I originally purchased this truck with the intentions of putting my 1957 cab and bed on it, but couldn't bring myself to ruin the originality. The interior isn't too bad and the floors are in good condition, except for a couple of holes someone cut in the passenger side for some reason. The truck is completely original, except for the exhaust system. The seat is not bolted down, and the bed is not either. The gas tank is also loose in the cab. Someone obviously, was getting ready to try and do some restoration work, and judging from the patch work they started, I am glad they stopped. The cab basically needs rust repair in the following areas: Cab corners, left door, and windshield opening. The engine turns, but I can't tell whether or not it is in good condition.
