1970 BMW 2800 CS CSL Clone Project with some Alpina PartsThis is an older restoration project unfinished. New fenders installed the engine compartment and rest of the front panels were stripped and re-undercoated and refinished in factory fiord blue. The whole car was painted in factory glasurit urethane. The rocker panels,quarter panels,shock towers,doors,hood and deck lid are all rust free. The front floor panels are showing some rust from sitting for over twenty years. The mecanicals were fine when parked. Has 2 down draft weber carbs,stainless header and stainless exaust. The project also comes with a 3.5 ltr. Euro motor from a euro 635 and a five speed getrag transmission ,2 sheel mann seats, an alpina 4 spoke steering wheel and 4 alpina 16 inch wheels. The original interior is all there but needs some attention the door panels and wood trim have been refinished. The paint is very good except for a few minor dings and scratches.There are a few missing parts and pieces most importantly is the windshield and back glass, front grill chrome also the fuel filler door. The car has been sitting for 20 years and will have to be trailered along with the spares. I am listing this car for a friend and I will answer all questions as promptly as possible.
