Thank you for taking a minute to take a look at my 1983 Datsun 280ZX! This one is equipped with the standard L283 inline six with the very reliable 5 speed manual! These were the cars to have in the 80's especially with the factory T-Tops removed! It drives very well, runs great, shifts with a positive clutch...feels great on the road! The Good:T-Tops Power windows Power brakesCruse Control AM/FM Cassette This car has spent most of its life in the southern states which has only recently moved to Ohio where it has never been winter driven! I am sure that is why this car is so very clean and virtually rust free. I bought this car just because it was so clean. I was not looking to buy but just could not pass it up! Brand new 195/14 tires mounted on the beautiful, original five spoke Z wheels that are in very good shape! I have recently replaced the alternator, windshield and the hatch struts.I also found a aluminum OEM Datsun rear louver and the ultra cool, hard to find NOS K&M clear headlight covers! The not so good: This car has some minor rust blisters on both quarter panelsThe power antenna does not work.Top of the dash pad is heat cracked (Typical I am told)A nice 10 footer, could use a repaint. This is a very reliable, driver quality car which could be driven anywhere..Fly in, drive home! Also, this car has an older repaint which is showing age. I must reiterate, this car is so above average in how clean the body is. For you who are familiar with these Z cars know how thoroughly they rust out! I have too many irons in the fire so I must sell...working towards that Gran Sport Corvette project! Enough said. I will be attaching more pictures within the next day so come back n take a look!
