THANKS, JIM The cab, doors, front fenders, hood and grille are 100% original sheet metal. I used an SOS pad on the panels and then buffed them with a mild rubbing compound. All of this has been fabricated onto a 1978 Chevrolet 1/2 ton short box pick-up frame. Truck has a goodwrench 350 with less than 30K miles on it. It has the granny low 4-speed transmission . Also has power steering, power brakes and a higher gear ratio in the rear end so it will cruise at 70 mph with no over revving issues. The speedometer and gas gauge are from the 1978 truck, which were built into the 1950 gauge assemblies. Gas gauge fluctuates, all other electrical items and lights work great! This includes turn signals which are in pictures. I built the box using all new 12-gauge diamond plate steel. All the mounting areas have been welded on the bottom of the bed and bolted to the frame, so the bolts aren't showing on the floor of the truck bed. I'd love to keep this truck to use as a driver but with winter coming I've decided to sell to finance some other projects. Truck has clear, up to date, title in my name. It is titled as a 1978 Chevrolet because that is what the frame/chassis is. Here is a list of new parts that went into building this truck: Glove box liner, 2 glass pack mufflers and down spouts, dist. cap and rotor, P/S pump, P/S belt, master cylinder, front calipers and pads and hydraulic brake hoses, rear wheel cylinders, brake shoes and steel lines. Trio gauge set, all new 12v bulbs throughout entire truck, tail light assemblies, carpet, headliner and door panels. New battery, fuel pump, radiator and heater hoses with clamps. Electric 12v cooling fan and toggle switch. Driver's door glass, turn signal switch, ignition switch, lock cylinder and key.
