We have inspected the S4, and will list the mechanical repairs that we see need attention. - Valve Cover gaskets, both banks 1 and 2 are leaking oil at the valve cover gaskets. - Cam Seals - Bank 2 is leaking- Right Front lower control arm bushing is torn.- Upper control arms are worn.- Air bag light is on, due to an Air Bag Control module- Heater is weak.- Timing belt status is unknown Exterior Condition The black paint has some scratches and dings on it. There are a few noticeable door dings on the car; one on the passenger front fender, one on the passenger door, and one on the driver side quarter panel. 2 or 3 on the rear hatch, on the left side, under the rear window glass. The front bumper is a Non OEM RS4 replica type front bumper. It fits well and looks good on the car. Small scuff area on the driver side, under the headlight where it meets the fender. Overall the paint is in good condition. The wheels and tires are from a B7 A4, and they have excellent tread left on them. Interior Condition The interior is all black leather. The driver seat bottom has a rip in one of the seams, and a hole in the leather. The side bolster is worn through. The cup holder above the radio is broken, as is common in most of these B5 S4's. All the windows work, and the raise and lower as they should. The Air bag light is the only dash warning light on, as is explained above. The headliner is in good shape, but sags in the rear cargo area. AC works great. All power seats function as they should. Cold weather package, Bose stereo, stock head unit. Rear cargo cover is not present in the car. We want to explain the overall condition of this Avant, and give you the opportunity to get a manual, B5 S4 avant at a good price. As many of you know, these are a desired car on the market. With a No Reserve Auction, there will be the opportunity for you to buy this Avant at a good price, do the required maintenance on it, and have a B5 S4 avant at a great price. The turbos are making zero noise and seem to be in great condition. Vehicle is sold as is. Interested buyers are free to inspect the vehicle. We are open M-F in Mesa Arizona. If we had more time, we would do the required maintenance and list the vehicle for a much higher price. At the moment, we find ourselves without the time to make this happen with our current schedule, and with the current projects we have, and customer's cars that we have in the shop. We are very familiar with these 2.7T engines, and are willing to answer any questions that you may have about the vehicle. We reserve the right to end the auction early as the vehicle is up for sale locally and up on many of the marketing websites. Pick up or transport of vehicle is responsibility of the winning bidder. We have shipped many vehicle all over the Continental US, and can help arrange vehicle transport through a 3rd party, but payment is the responsibility of the winning bidder. Out of state buyers will not be charged sales tax by the selling dealer, if the vehicle is transporting the vehicle out of state, via transporter.
