For sale - 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport. A perfect ride for the "strong winter" we're supposed to be getting. Red, 4 door, 4.0 liter straight 6 engine, automatic transmission, 4WD. 242,xxx miles and gradually increasing. The Good...- Clean title- No frame rust whatsoever- Newer tires with excellent tread - save lots of $$$- New battery- Bulletproof engine: no fluid leaks and very strong- Clean interior: no rips, tears or anything- 4WD system works perfectly, no trouble transferring between 2WD and 4WH/4WL- Power locking system with key fob works perfectly- Inspected until DecemberThe Bad/Ugly- A few dings, dents and scratches here and there like any older car, most noticeably on driver's side back door- Passenger front power window doesn't roll down- Only the right rear stereo speaker works, all others seem to have been blown out by a previous owner. Never cared enough to fix it since the radio works perfectly anyway- Throws a CEL intermittently for low voltage to the rear O2 sensor. May just need cleared, doesn't seem to be affecting gas mileage or fuel mixture (not running rich or lean). My mechanic said it wouldn't affect an inspection, YMMVThat's all I can think of at the moment, will add anything that comes to mind later.Since I've owned this Jeep it has performed admirably. Took it on a couple of long trips out of state this summer and it never left me stranded. Really hate to see it go but unfortunately I just have way too many cars at the moment.
