I never imagined selling this car, but a badly torn rotator cuff in my right shoulder requires very expensive surgery and I m going to have to let my car go (I won t be able to drive a stick shift for over a year anyway). I spent almost a year finding the perfect S2000 after an SUV moved into oncoming traffic and totaled my 2006 S a few years ago. This '08 was a Honda Certified Car that I purchased in Nashville a bit over 2 years ago with 27K miles. I ve driven it 30K wonderful miles since then and she's still flawless. My rather obsessive approach to car maintenance means this is the nicest vehicle on the market. She is clayed, polished and waxed twice a year (using Griot s polishes and best carnauba wax), all leather treated and interior UV protectant used. The engine compartment is like new with carbon fiber induction plate, Optima battery, K&N filter and dual hood lifts. The gearbox and limited slip were just serviced (using factory MTF and Royal Purple), and I rebuilt the brakes with Akebono ceramic pads, new factory rotors and braided stainless steel brake lines. The '08 model had the last changes made to the S2K including a new instrument panel, 5-spoke wheels, body color windshield surround, new seats and upgraded suspension. This car is essentially stock and any changes are reversible and I retained all the factory parts. All the wheels are flawless, no scratches. Just installed a Pioneer DEH-4400 HD head unit, Alpine amp, Kicker door speakers with cross-overs and a Sound Ordnance powered sub-woofer. I purchased but haven t installed a full factory alarm system including hood switch and the car has LoJack including the pager option and Eagle security etched body panels. I've driven a lot of interesting and fast vehicles, but nothing comes close to the overall satisfaction of owning this car. The S2000 has attained an almost legendary reputation, a very fast, beautiful sports car that never breaks! The prices have been rising steadily since soon after production ended in June of 2009, this was a very limited production car and will surely hold or increase in value (besides, it is guaranteed to make you laugh maniacally every time you step on the gas or enter a corner, lol).
