1989 MUSTANG GT 25TH ANNIVERSARY* Item re-listed because of eBay error! Up for sale is a 1989 Mustang GT with 55,125 actual miles! I found this car about 1 year ago...a true "barn find!" This vehicle was bought NEW at D&D Ford in Greer, South Carolina and was home to one owner in Flat Rock, North Carolina for all 25 years. This car had been driven monthly up to 2012 and was parked inside until I purchased it. Upon purchasing, I did some service as far as oil change and tire rotation. Mechanically it checks out great! The motor runs strong with good oil pressure. Transmission is smooth through 1, 2, 3, but periodically shudders into overdrive. It appears to have had a water pump and hoses replaced at some time. Brakes stop great and all lights and wipes work correctly. Tires are almost new and are Cooper Cobras. All four wheels are stock with no curb rash. I have not tried to recharge A/C, but compressor turns freely. Radio turns on, but no sound...I wanted to leave the stock radio in place for integrity! Heat, cruise, and power windows work fine, but unfortunately the power locks are inoperative. Cosmetically this Mustang is FANTASTIC!!! The paint looks to be factory, but I must leave this opinion to the trained eye. For age and mileage I would call it a strong 8: including all moldings, trim, Interior is awesome, seats show perfect wear for the mileage. Door panels, headliner, dash, wheels, backseat, and hatch are also in great condition. * there is a small tear in the lower valance of front bumper cover as shown in picture.All bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect and drive before bidding, more detailed pictures are available upon request.
