This auction is for a farm fresh 1940 Ford Standard Coupe from right here in Oklahoma . The car was last safety inspected in 1973 but has recently had a basic tune-up and fresh brakes and we are proud to report it runs very well with no smoke or knocks . The car has an amazing sound and solid body with typical dings and dents and rust in the lower tail panel "gravel pan area" . The interior is very intact and ready for restoration but is currently torn and tired. The trans and rear end seem to be working just fine. I would not change any body panels upon restoration other than replacing the lower gravel pan . I would be tempted to leave it as it is in Patina form to be quite honest .
