1954 Chevrolet Bel - Air 2 DR. HardtopA perfect project for the lucky buyer! Has potential to become a gorgeous classic. Make no mistake, it needs a complete restoration from front to rear but well worth the time and effort. Bumpers are straight but painted. Floor boards have a patch panel on the front passenger side and small miscellaneous holes elsewhere. Front and rear seats have slip covers over bare springs (no padding) and wife says the leopard towels don't go with the car. Headliner is gone but all the stays and bows are there along with the sun visors.Back window looks perfect, windshield and a couple of the side glasses are broken. Door panels are in poor condition but there. Radio is missing. Big dent in drivers door and big dent in passenger door. Hard to see in pictures. Right front fender and passenger door have black primer on them and remainder of car has very deteriorated paint. Couple pieces of side molding missing and a couple pieces in the trunk. Has 15" wheels on rear and 14" wheel on the front. Hood ornament looks excellent. Rust out under rear lip under trunk deck, rockers and behind drivers rear wheel quarter panel. Rocked the car in gear and the engine turned over. Has oil in engine and looks ok. Did not put a battery in it and do not know what works and what doesn't. Brakes do not work. Body mounts and frame look good but dirty. Pictures may make the car look better than it is. The car has not run for years and will require a complete restoration: body, paint, electrical, chrome, upholstery, glass, tires, exhaust and maybe more. It's 98% complete and has all the potential to become a very valuable collector car. IT'S A TWO DOOR HARDTOP!!!
