Rare 1949 Plymouth Business Coupe P-17. Garaged kept and powered by a flat 6. 3 on the tree. Runs excellent. Lowered with brand new white wall tires. New carburetor, new brake master cylinder, 12V conversion, new shocks, and many new extra parts. I have all new rubber and felt waiting to be installed as well as seals. Doesn't need it now, but it's there when you do. Does need new door glass on passenger side and driver side. Passenger side glass has a small crack, and the driver side glass has pellet markings where someone may have shot it at one time. I also have an extra flathead 6 motor that you may use for parts. Chrome is in great condition, as is the interior. Newer bucket seats have been added, but need recovering to match the door panels. Carpet needs to be replaced to match as well, but is in great condition. Paint is good, but could be redone if you want it perfect. Looks great from 10 ft away, but up close it shows orange peel. There are few scratches here there, but nothing major. Has new Dolphin Gauges in the dash, but needs new regulator or maybe a wire to be re-hooked up. The speedometer and tach went out a few weeks back, but all the other gauges work fine ( gas, oil, volts, and temperature gauges ). Front disc brake conversion, and drum in the rear. You never see any of these rolling around. I've found maybe 5 of these cars on the web that are for sale. They are averaging anywhere from $15 k to $20 k.
