This is without a doubt as cool as it gets in the C10 world. This is my 1971 C10. It is a factory V8 short bed in beautiful original patina paint in the most desirable color, Medium Green! There is a TON going on with this truck so I will break it all down for you bidders. I bought this truck as a 2 owner original AZ truck that spent its whole life there until 2011. It went to CO and thats when I bought it as a bone stock original truck! This truck has been well cared for its entire life and was free of damage which is why I bought it. The truck then was fully stripped and built into the Kustom truck it is now. This is a fully redone, Pro built truck, not a back yard build. It was built the right way so everything works. You will find NO rigging here! This is truly a world class hot rod build with all new parts and an original truck body on top! The frame was removed completely from the body and stripped down to the 2 bare rails. They were then powdercoated semi gloss black. Again, not stripped and and spray painted, but sand blasted, and then powdercoated so the coating will last forever! I then bought a Porterbuilt extreme Drop member front and rear suspension kit which includes a new front dropped crossmember, rear notch, and new rear trailing arms. I added the front upper and lower narrowed control arms to complete the kit. This was all powdercoated matching semi gloss black just like the frame. Additionally I bought the Porterbuilt Power Rack steering set up, the Porterbuilt power steering lines, and the steering coupler. It has Air lift bags and CPP drop spindles on it. Brand new brakes front and rear! The frame features a new 2 piece drive shaft and custom made Billet center bearing raise so the driveshaft angle is correct for driving. Its this kind of extra step that makes this truck a fully thought out quality build. The frame is set up with fully custom made hidden brake lines as well as hidden and insulated air lines. The air lines are connected at the rear to an Accuair Switch speed air management kit. Accuair is the best in the business and the controller is a hand held unit that rests on the drivers seat. All wiring is properly run and safe! The drivetrain on the Truck is nice and fresh. The motor is a very healthy and smooth running Small Block chevy which has been painted to match the trucks color. The engine has an RV cam for a nice idle and good power. It features a vintage Offenhauser Dual Plane intake manifold and an Edelbrock carb. All fasteners on the motor are ARP polished multi point fasteners. The exhaust features rams horn smooth manifolds and a killer dual exhaust with an amazing deep hot rod tone. All Custom made and tucked way up away from the road so the truck can lay flat on the ground and not drag anything! Again, this is a well thought out and built truck. The trans is a new Turbo 350 auto trans with new torque converter. The rear end is also fully rebuilt with new axles, a posi, and new gears for nice cruising on the open road even with those big wheels! The housing was also powdercoated semi gloss to match the frame. The radiator is a new aluminum unit and the motor has been highly detailed with black pulleys and mounts. The pictures will show the massive amount of work that went into this part of the truck! Wheels are 20 inch front and 22 inch rears made by Intro Billet wheels and feature a semi gloss white center to match the trucks roof, and nice polished lips the centers are dressed up with factory Chevy center caps to hide the lugs. Tires are brand new as well! Inside the truck has again been fully detailed with a new factory houndstooth seat cover, dash pad, rebuilt and renewed gauge cluster. The carpet is new and all the rubber seals in the truck were swapped out for new ones. I rebuilt the doors with new rubber, window seals and rebuilt wing windows with new chrome. The inside was fully stripped, waxed, buffed and cleaned before any of this went into it so you will not have to clean any old dirt or grime. Its just nice clear original medium green paint. A very cool place to sit! Glass is all in great shape with no cracks! Outside the entire truck was cut and buffed to bring that original shine back to the paint. The body has killer patina all over it and no ugly primer or fake patina here! This is all the real deal in the color that is so hard to find. This truck has the very rare 1/3 white roof where as most of them were ordered with the full white roof. I like that about this truck. The bed is solid! Nice original paint in there that looks amazing still. The factory bed floor was raised to clear the Porterbuilt notches without cutting the floor. Rear wheel tubs were sectioned and lengthened to clear the rear wheels. Notice that there is Rust in the rockers and the cab corners. None of this is structural, and could be easily repaired if you choose but since the truck is SO original and the body is so good, I elected to leave it alone. I will provide new rockers to the new owner free of charge. All bumpers are rechromed, new grille and emblem. Firewall was shaved clean and repainted as well. It has Porterbuilt hood hinges that were powdercoated for a finished look under the hood. Up front the truck has beautiful front wheel tubs that look factory so when you open the hood it looks finished at a car show! With the tail gate down you can access the battery, wiring, Accuair and just about anything you would need to get to. Its all very user friendly! Again, well thought out and pro built. The truck drives great! The air system functions as it should and it rides very well! Nice and soft and smooth. I have put just under 500 miles on this truck since it was completed. It has been shot for an upcoming feature in Truckin Magazine which will come out shorty. The truck needs nothing but to be enjoyed! Many big industry names had a hand in building this truck and im sure the quality will come through in the photos. I have over 1000 photos of the build of this truck which the new owner can have. No stone was left unturned in this build. I wanted the best possible truck and I think this is as good as it gets! I am not interested in trades of any kind.
