Up for auction is my 1955 Lincoln Chopped Top Lead Sled!!!! This car is a treasure to own, drive and have fun with. It is good to go as is, but you can put your finishing touches on it. It is not perfect, this car is 60 years old. The car is straight as an arrow with NO body damage and NO bondo, except where we removed the front bumper and blended in the body. The door handles have been shaved as well as the trunk lock, but all have brand new electric solenoids. It has power steering and power brakes. The car was also converted to 12volt. The interior is older but nice, as well as the headliner. The windshield, rear glass and both door windows are REAL GLASS. The vent windows and rear passenger windows are new plexiglass. The top is BRAND NEW padded leather. It has a fuel cell in the trunk instead of the original gas tank all done right!! It has brand new coker white wall tires, brand new brakes, all wheel cylinders and hoses, complete fresh tune up with the original fresh rebuilt teakettle carb. It has 1958 cadillac hub caps, 1950 mercury skirts, plus the original ones that go with the car. It has a set of brand new lake pipes that have been installed, two dummy chrome spotlights and many many extra parts that go with the car. The paint is done in satin black, and is ready for your color choice. The car has a louvered hood and custom grill. The list can go on and on. This car runs PERFECT. It shifts smooth. It also has a nice set of glass paks for the exhaust system, sounds realllllllllll nice!!!!!!!!! The car turns heads and gets thumbs up everywhere it goes.
