This car is way friggen cool....I got it from a retiree/gearhead who poured dough into this early 1990s pro street build.....starting with an off the shelf 4 bolt small block victor junior air gap and aluminum head at 12.5 compression and top dollar pro build resulted in a killer 355 motor.... pro installed 4 link and narrowed ford 9 inch Detroit locker with 5:13 gears hooker fender exit headers then headed for interior shop for complete replacement and had race trans Bruno marsallies build a killer 400th manual auto trans with with transbrake and 4500rpm stall converter he used to race it occasionally at rt30 dragstrip in Oswego il. and said it pulled high tens....and otherwise took it out for cruise nites, he got sick it sat for 10 years now he's too old for it....So I bought it got home change all the fluids put a new battery in clean off the many layers of dust aired up the tires and wow! It fired right up and just runs unbelievable.....trouble is I got 13 cars already no storage and 4 major projects....so in as much as I love 55 chevy and this car Im aggonna sell er....well, see the pics and short vidieo....I'm sure theres things I forgot (like the gear drive timing set that sounds like a blower or the (brand new fiberglass hood with tunnel ram scoop and front disc brakes) left out and things I don't know and will never know...of course its tubbed with roll bar with finished useable back seat and fuel cell in trunk....the body at this point is a 15- 20 footer but it shines nice and still looks pretty good all the trim is there the window flipper work well and all glass is good....as you'll see/hear in the pics...turn on the sound its short but sweet. o0h and those big ass m/t 31s are still a bit lumpy from sitting around you may consider new tires,,,,they aint rotten tho so who knows maybe they'll smooth out with more use...and ask questions before you bid or buy not after........thanks for lookingOn Oct-11-14 at 06:25:14 PDT, seller added the following information: well I couldn't get the very short video with sound to load so If you're a very serious bidder/buyer send me your email address and i'll send you the short clip....you'll see a light burn out and get to hear the car run and see it in action....it was a short parking lot shot....please no dreamers on this I'll look for your id in the bidders column before I send....thanks again.....
