Vehicle Detail

up for sale is my 1989 ford festiva, I have been daily driving this car for a few years now and with in the last two years I have had the following all replaced with oem or better parts- the complet brake system from the brake booster and master cylinder to the rotors and hubs, wheel cylinders and all the wheel bearings front and back. the shocks and struts even the top hats. it has new sway bar bushings and the rear has new bushings as well also a new battery, the 1.3 b3 has been replaced with a 1.8 sohc b8-me out of a automatic 1994 mazda protégé that had 44 thousand miles on it when I bought it and now it has 50k on it. it's like having a brand new engine. it has a new flywheel and a stock replacement clutch in it which it does fine as long as you are driving normal but if you want to floor it then it will need a stage 2 clutch sooner or later. also has new alternator and battery, the axles are both new so is the inner and outer tie rods and the control arms. and it has corksport shifter bushings. It has had about everything replaced on it all with in the last two years and the engine runs great. also has front seats out of a 2003 mazda protégé 5 in it, the rear ones are stock. I have been getting right at 40 miles per gallon in it and I drive speed limit. the car came with factory a/c on it and it is all still there but the compressor it was locked up so I just removed it when the engine was put in. heat works great. it has the rear cargo cover and the gauge cluster with the tachometer and the trip which is two rare options on these little cars. a lot of people do not get why anyone would drive a festiva and those are the people who have never driven one these little cars have a lot of room in them and are so much fun to drive it's like a street legal go cart. and if you have never seen one with the b8 swap in it look it up on you tube just type in ford festiva b8 swap and then you can see how quick this little car is but still gets great gas and can be driven daily very reliable car I am confident in it and I drive it everyday. as the car sits it will need a set of tires soon it has American racing rims on it that are 13x5.5 inches wide with a 35mm offset. and you can order tires off line for it for around 150 dollars shipped to your door. besides that and maybe a stage 1 or 2 clutch down the road. and were I left the battery in it's stock location the cold air rubs the hood and cause a little vibration when the car is sitting besides that the car should not need anything else the car is sold as is so please feel free to ask any questions you may have and come by and check it out if possible. the primer on the side is were it had a dent and I fixed it was planning on painting the car but never found the time
