1967 Camaro RS/SS 396 Big Block Convertible Automatic Very Rare power window R/S Convertible with"SS 396 trim" PRIOR OWNERS DESCRIPTION:Total restoration completed one year ago by prior owner, on super low mileage car in 2012 with less than 105 miles since finished. Multiple Best of Show Award winner. Finished in near flawless black PPG base coat, clear coat and is laser straight with white bumblebee stripe. Doors, hood and trunk open and close like new. The engine is a completely rebuilt 1971 396 with a high lift cam, ported and polished heads, factory Holley intake, Holley 750 double pumper, dual Magnaflow exhaust, polished aluminum radiator, 6500 volt ignition, power steering. ‘67 power glide transmission. Brakes are 4 wheel drum. New fuel tank, new brake lines and fuel lines. It’s as original as possible with minor upgrades. Interior is all new and is beautiful in parchment and black. Steering wheel is a new GM restoration wood wheel. The top is new. Stayfast canvas 3 ply with new pads, back window, motor, hoses, cables, cylinders and switch. GM 14” Rally wheels with brand new Radial T/A tires.Trim has been replaced with either N.O.S. or GM restoration. Front windshield is a new tinted window. The trunk, pans, and floors have been replaced and are solid. The car was stripped to bare metal before POR was applied to the floor pans inside and out. The car was painted in pieces and reassembled. There is too much to list, the car is all new top to bottom. 35K+ spent on this restorationSELLERS NOTE: I do not know anything about cars whatsoever, so unfortunately, asking me technical questions will be met with a resounding "I have no clue". I purchased this car and immediately took it in for inspection at the transmission shop in our area, "Michianna Transmission". Michianna Transmission recommends that the following be replaced:Waterpump, Transmission, Engine Seals, Modulator, Rear Break Drums and Guiderod. Michianna Transmission recommends that the following be repaired:Windshield Wipers do not work, Turn Signals do not work, Rear Power Window does not work, Heater no working, lights not working and radio not working (i.e., multiple electrical issues). Candidly, the car will run once jumped and filled with the necessary fluids, but it is in need of the above repairs to run correctly. That is the extent of my knowledge.
