2FTJW3514GCB06167 1986 F-350 Work Truck 460 Cubic Inch (7.4L) Carbureted Engine 93,464 miles Truck has been out of use for a few years. I start it up about once a month. Has two almost new batteries. The best description of the truck is in the pictures. It was a work truck, and an exceptional one. The utility bed is heavy duty steel. The 1" square tubing of the rack is made of 1/4" thick steel. The four built in ratcheting straps on the rack are always there and are indispensible. The truck has a C-6 transmission with a Gear Vendors Over/Under drive attached. The original engine was diesel, but I had it removed and a 1976 460 CI carbureted engine installed. It was a factory rebuilt engine from ATK in Santa Ana, Ca. The engine was installed by a local shop. I have the paperwork. Total cost: $4305.60. The engine has 4136 miles on it. The Gear Vendors Over/Under Drive works automatically or can be worked manually; it converts the 3-speed C-6 transmission in to a 6-speed. I do not consider the truck to be road-worthy for driving, primarily because of its brakes and the carburetor is in need of either adjustment or rebuild. The factory service/shop manual comes with. If someone is mechanically inclined, and has the time and some money, the truck could once again be an excellent work truck. Or it could be parted out for several times the money I'm asking.
