It has been in dry storage for the past 14 years in my garage here in San Antonio Texas as seen here. I start it monthly and run it until it warms up completely, the engine has been rebuilt with only 5k kilometers on it, there are no leaks and it run perfect. It has a dual quite pack exhaust system otherwise the engine is stock, the following are new, front leather seats (made by Rover), complete interior carpet set, and center console(needs installation). I have owned this car for the past 17 years I purchased it in Yokosuka Japan from a friend who was the original owner only 2000 Karman Ghia's were imported to Japan during the production from 1958 - 74. This is a complete running and fully drivable car and not a PROJECT!! I have both my U.S. Government Military Title along with the complete Japanese registration with my name on all documentation. This car can be registered in any state in the USA, if you are a bidder outside of the United States and need this car registered here in order to do the importation and registration in your home country please let me know. Now that we have that said! If you are interested in driving this car from San Antonio to a port on the east or west coast it will need some basic service to ensure the brakes will make the trip (it has not been on the road in 14 years aside from a brief cruise around the city to work the car in)!!
